Dr. Tortland is recognized internationally as a leader in regenerative medicine (including stem cell treatments), non-surgical sports medicine, and musculoskeletal ultrasound (MSK US). He lectures and teaches across the country at regional and national medical conferences and training courses.
He is board certified in Sports Medicine, Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine, and Family Practice, and he is on staff at both Hartford and St. Francis Hospitals (Hartford, CT). He was the first person in the world to become certified in regenerative medicine by the American Academy and Board of Regenerative Medicine.
